2016 Rose City Was once again a great success! We sported a new sign and had a total of 6 horses. It was a great week full of learning and I will update once I have pics from the show photographer Barbara Dudley! A few highlights from the week: Amelia Moore and Rhythm of the Rain won the OHJA Medal and are now qualified for the medal finals in September.
Table for Two put in some gorgeous rounds and was Thoroughbred hunter champion.
Leap of Faith came back after a rough start in the 1.10m jumpers with several 3rds and a 1st.
Carolyn Flecken and Hopalong Kassidy had lots of fun in the .85
Stephanie Bonham and Sommeliers Choice put in some very successful rounds in the .85 and .95 jumpers.
Last but not least Pippin got to attend his first show and even competed in the cross rail hunters under his new show name "Spread a Little Sunshine". Thank You to Stephanie Flecken for coming home from Kentucky to groom for me. My horses got great care and I couldn't have done it without you!

Sacramento International was a great success! I had lots of learning with Team McAllister and had the pleasure of helping them get their FEI horses to the ring when needed. Jenni and Legis Touch the Sun did very well. "Leap of Faith" and I had a very successful week in the 1.10m classes, our first indoor experiences and large classes with lots of good international competition. We took home a 4th and 7th during the week. "Table for Two" won her first class and came home Reserve Champion in the baby green hunters! Hope we get to go back next year!
Timberline Farms first "A" rated show together as a barn!
What a great week with tons of success at the Rose City Opener in Tumalo, OR. Everyone placed very well in their classes. Stephanie Flecken and Hoppalong Kassidy ended up Champion in the .75 Jr/Am jumpers and Amelia Moore and Rhythm of the Rain were Reserve Champions in the pre-Child 2'6 hunter division as well as a 2nd place finish in the OHJA mini medal! "Table for Two" aka Zoe moved up to the 3ft Pre Green division and had a 12th place finish in the $5,000 USHJA Hunter Derby on Sunday. Despite a rainy week we also had lots of fun jumping human jumps and making smores around our fire pit! Cannot wait to do it again!

First annual barn play day was officially a blast! A day full of learning but mostly fun and goofing for students, horses, parents and siblings. We started with some bareback fun, did some pairs riding, tested some knowledge on parts of the horse, ate a huge potluck and ended the day with a human high jump and grand prix and three legged race! I am pretty sure we all slept well that night!
Congrats to Amelia Moore and her purchase of Rain. We can't wait to see what this new partnership brings in the future!
